Filmmaking – the ultimate challenge!

Until 2018 I focused mainly on photography. But in recent years there have been all kinds of exciting and innovative developments in filmmaking – fantastic!

After taking several courses, I’ve been making my own films since 2020. I especially enjoy creating short films about a single topic, tightly edited to beautiful music. There’s no shortage of subjects: travel, museums, animals, events, musical theatre and behind-the-scenes reports.

In the meantime, I’ve been making films as a volunteer for various non-profit organisations and I even contributed to the feature films Grenzeloos Verraad and 23 Brieven van Vincent.

 

Turning musical theatre productions into feature-style films and recording music videos also gives me a lot of energy – and you get to meet lots of new people, too!

​

Since 2023 I’ve also been taking part in various Dutch and international amateur film festivals, which has already resulted in a wonderful series of awards.
